    A Letter from North Administrators

    Mustang Community,

As we are thankful for the warmer weather, we are also extremely excited for Mustang Spring Activities! Spring Sports begin next Monday, March 1st. All athletes must have their physicals and paperwork approved and on file in the BVN Athletic Office before they can tryout or practice. Look for more information in this newsletter.

We also have a number of students who have not yet enrolled for the 2021/2022 school year. If this is your student, please make this a priority by visiting our enrollment website that includes 3 STEP ENROLLMENT PROCESS. We must have this enrollment information to make accurate plans for the 2021/2022 school year.

Over the next two weeks, we will remain in the hybrid learning mode. Spring break begins on March 15, and there is no school on Monday, March 22. We're looking forward to an opportunity for everyone to relax and recharge. When students return on March 23, all in-person students will come to school every day following a block schedule. See the March calendar in North Notes.

As always, we are so grateful for our parent community! Have a great weekend.

Every student needs a new physical, every year, completed, signed and dated (May 1, 2020, or after) by a physician (Note: There are TWO places where the doctor has to sign and date the physical. Check this BEFORE you leave the doctor’s office!).

All forms need to be printed, read, signed by a parent and student, and returned to BVN. Completed forms can also be scanned together (no photographs accepted) and emailed to Teresa Anderson, BVN Athletics, tanderson@bluevalleyk12.org , dropped off to the main office by your student or mailed to: Teresa Anderson, Blue Valley North High School, 12200 Lamar Avenue, Overland Park, KS 66209.
