What's Happening This Week:
Report Cards:
- Report Cards will be mailed Tuesday. Report cards will also contain Snap Codes for data verification to register for the 2020-2021 school year.
Chromebook and Hotspot Distribution:
- We will have one more pick up for K-2 Chromebooks on Monday, April 20 from 8:00-10:00. We anticipate Chromebooks, for students in grades 3-5, and WiFi hotspots will be ready for distribution on Tuesday, April 21. I will communicate with grade level teams on Monday morning if we get approval from the tech team to distribute on Tuesday.
"Learning at Home"-The TCS Way:
Instructional packets for this week can be picked up at the front of the school on Mondays from 8:00am-6:00pm. Please encourage parents to come before lunch distribution (before 11:00) or after lunch distribution (after 12:00) as our lunch line gets pretty congested. Parents will need to drive up to the front entrance of the school and walk to a table located under the awning at the front of the school. Again, please continue to encourage all parents to access virtual learning, first, if they have access to internet and a device.
- Please remember to report your attendance, every day by 3:00pm. Enter student attendance as measured by engagement via packets or virtual learning in our attendance spreadsheets.
- K-5
- Middle School
Building Access:
The deadline to enter the building to return for items will be Wednesday, April 22, 2020, after which time building access will be restricted through the remainder of the school year. Sign up here if you need to get any personal items or instructional resources. After Wednesday, April 22, the front office will still be accessible if copies are needed for distance learning.
Refunds:
- In an effort to refund parents money paid for field trips, recognition, dance, choir etc..., please complete the template that Mrs. Lyles sent last week. Refund checks will be mailed to parents.

- Yearbooks were ordered prior to Spring Break. There may be a delay in the processing and shipping of our yearbooks, however, we will make arrangements for students to pick up yearbooks once they arrive.

Looking Ahead to Next Week
A shout out goes to our awesome SPE team! As a team, they continue to provide robust learning opportunities, both digital and paper-pencil, for students they serve. In addition, they collaborate with grade level teams to plan appropriate accommodations to ensure student access and success! Did I mention they are conducting all IEP meetings in a virtual setting? While this is a challenge, our SPE colleagues handled this transition with ease!
