2/20-2/24: President's Week Break - No school

2/27: Minimum Day (Dismissal 12:45 for Kindergarten, 12:55 for 1st-6th Grades)

3/6-3/10: Spring Conference Week - Minimum Days all week (Dismissal 12:45 for Kindergarten, 12:55 for 1st-6th Grades)

4/3-4/10: Spring Break - No School

5/11: Minimum Day (Dismissal 12:45 for Kindergarten, 12:55 for 1st-6th Grades)

5/11: Open House Night

5/15: Minimum Day (Dismissal 12:45 for Kindergarten, 12:55 for 1st-6th Grades)

5/29: Memorial Day - No School

6/1: Last Day of School/Minimum Day (Dismissal 12:45 for Kindergarten, 12:55 for 1st-6th Grades)

Beginning at 12:00 am Friday, February 24, 2023 to 11:59 pm on Thursday, March 2, 2023. You will have the opportunity to access the conference schedule of your child’s teacher and pick an available time that best fits your schedule. Conference week is scheduled from March 6th - 10th. The simple step-by-step instructions below can be used to help you schedule your conference.

There will be lots of exciting items to bid on, including vacations, class baskets, teacher experiences for your kids, and more. Remember, this is the second of Sierra’s two large fundraisers that supports our amazing IB program.

We’re requesting donations to help fill class baskets. The PTC Auction Committee has offered to put together the baskets this year. Please consider donating $10 per student, so we can build exciting baskets. This donation is tax deductible!

• Drop off cash or a check donation at the front office or send it in with your child’s Friday folder.

And let us know if you have items to donate for the auction: ski tickets/lessons, getaways, golf outings, restaurant/winery gift cards, services, swag, experiences (Sunsplash, sport games, Great Wolf Lodge, etc.).

To ensure compliance with RUSD and the state of California's volunteer policies, parents who wish to volunteer on campus during the school day must have:

RUSD Policy:

• Fingerprinting completed for RUSD specifically. Prior fingerprinting done for any agency or organization other than RUSD will not be accepted. Fingerprinting takes approximately 72 hours to clear.
• Current Tuberculosis Test (TB). TB tests expire every 4 years and must be renewed in order to volunteer. TB Tests take approximately 48-72 hours for results and results must be brought to the office.
