The end of the nine weeks is coming!

The first quarter of the year is almost over! The end of the first nine weeks is next Friday, October 6th. Be sure to check your student's grades in Skyward and ask them if they have any missing work.

Harby Homecoming is Next Week, October 3rd!

One of the exciting things we do at Harby Jr High is our Homecoming Football game! The Homecoming game will be at the Alvin High School Stadium on October 3rd, 2023. We will have performances by our band, dance team, and choir. Those specific teachers will be sending home information about which students will be performing at the event. Students voted for their homecoming court today during home room.

Open House is October 12th at 5:15

The Harby Open House will be October 12th, 2023 starting at 5:15! We will be sharing Title 1 information, having student performance, providing parent resources, and displaying student work. Everyone is invited and we hope to see you there!

False Alarms earlier this week

On Wednesday and Thursday of this week, we had false alarms that resulted in the campus evacuating the campus. The Fire Marshall and district administrators investigated the equipment and the situation should be resolved at this time. At no time was there a threat or actual fire on campus.

Thank you to everyone that supported the Hawk PTO Spirit Night at Chick-fil-a!

We appreciate everyone that visited Chick-fil-A this past Tuesday for the Hawk PTO Spirit Night. Small gestors like attending spirit nights go along way in supporting our Hawks.

Mrs Johns and Hawks participated in the YET Program Luncheon!

Mrs Johns was able to take a group of our Hawks to participate in the YET Program Luncheon this past week! Everyone had a great time and we are thankful for this program that enriches our Hawks experience on campus.

Our 8th grade Volleyball Hawks honored their favorite teachers this past week at Teacher Appreciation Night! Thank you coaches and Volleyball players for letting your teachers know how much they mean to you. 7th grade volleyball players will be having their Teacher Appreciation Night next Thursday.

Congratulations to Sebastian, Natasha, & Gage for being selected as our Harby Hawks of the Week for 6th, 7th, & 8th grade! Sabastian was looking out for a classmate this week. Natasha consubtky helps at bus duty. Gage has been helping a friend on crutches all week. Great job, Hawks!
