The MetroHealth School Health Program is coming back to Oxford! Their team will be here seeing patients on Friday May 26th. They can see your child for a check up, needed school immunizations, prescription refills, help managing chronic illness like asthma, referrals to specialists. If your child is heading to middle school, get their fall sports physical paperwork completed now! There is no charge to families for these services. The Ohio Afterschool Child Enrichment (ACE) Educational Savings Account program provides qualifying families with a $1,000 credit per child. These funds can be used to pay for a variety of educational activities designed to help accelerate learning for children impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic.

This STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) camp is an enrichment opportunity for elementary students completing second through fifth grade. Camp Invention will run July 24-28, from 9 a.m.-3:30 p.m. The cost is $100 for the first 200 students to register. Register and find more info about summer opportunities in CH-UH here.

What is a community learning center? A Community Learning Center (CLC) is a place-based strategy in which schools partner with community agencies and allocate resources to integrate a focus on academics, health and social services, and youth and community development, and also foster community engagement.
