ATHLETICS AT HIDDEN VALLEY
Hidden Valley Families
With all of the uncertainty around returning to school and resuming athletics and activities, I wanted to share the most up to date information with you.
First, however, I need to stress to you the importance of eligibility! In order to participate in athletics when we resume, students need to be academically eligible. This means they are on track toward graduation, have passed three courses during quarter two (ending on January 28) and be registered for three courses during quarter three. I encourage you to work hard and earn the credits you need!
The OSAA released an updated athletics calendar in December. Here is a breakdown of the sports seasons for this year:
Season 1 continues through February 21
Many programs are having training and conditioning activities. At the moment, these are allowed in outdoor facilities only as indoor activities are currently prohibited. Spirit week
Who doesn’t like a good spirit week? Well, here at Hidden Valley we love spirit week! There were a lot of festive teachers and staff roaming the halls, Mr Bickle in his reindeer jammies and Mr Crowson (Cupid), Mrs Falkenhagen (Prancer) and Mr Fisher (Dasher) rocking the antlers.
Who would have known who was naughty or nice in the front office, we were all surprised! Even the lunch ladies joined the fun(they would have totally gotten a grand prize if we were judging). It was an amazing week filled with fun and spirit for the holiday’s and for our students. Hope you guys at home enjoyed the show, and great job to those of you that joined in. Special congratulations to: Conner Wright, Aileen Poynter, Danica McLean,

Sam has made a name for himself with the successes he has had on the field and in the classroom.
