Arrival Procedures
Before 8:40 a.m., all students will line up in front of the school on the small blacktop. Each grade level has its own-colored cone. Your child should stand in the line behind the cone for their grade level. When the bell rings, there are adults and patrols who will escort them into the building. Please remind your child that this is a time to stand in line quietly and listen for directions.
After 8:40 a.m., kindergarten will enter the building through the kiss and ride entrance. First grade students will enter through the first-grade hallway. Third, fourth, and fifth graders will enter the building through the front doors near the main office. Second grade has the option of entering through the kindergarten hallway entrance or through the first grade entrance.
If your child is a car rider, you should use the car rider loop to drop your child off in the morning, When you pull in the car rider loop, please stay in your car. Parents/caregivers may not leave their car unattended in the car rider loop. If you need to walk your child up to the door, you will need to park in the lot or a designated spot in the street and walk over. There will be an adult and patrols to help your child enter the building safely. Parents are not allowed to walk their child to class. Again, thank you for following these procedures to keep our students safe.
Dismissal Procedures
