This year, we will announce our very first Homecoming King. This was opened to the senior boys. We are excited to see this tradition begin!

Spirit Week is a fun week on all our campuses. The teachers and staffs at each campus will submit names of students each day that they think had an exceptional costume. The student with the most nominations will be that day's winner.

The daily winners will then go on the ballot for the Overall Spirit Week Winner!

Great prizes for the daily winners and for the Overall Spirit Week Winners at each campus!!

Let's kick off Homecoming Week '22 with the parade!! Yes this is something different, but we are hoping to get more participation, a longer parade route, and participants can throw candy!

Right now we have close to 40 entries in the parade!!! We have a lot of vehicle riders but would love to see floats and decorated trailers!

he CDC recommends kids aged 6-18 have at least 60 minutes per day of moderate to vigorous physical activity. Unfortunately, barely over 25% actually get that done.

Thankfully, our district has some pretty cool options to help out with this problem. Did you know that the playground areas and walking trails at both MES and MMSBA are open to the public after school hours? The gates are opened at the end of each school day for use by our community.

So get the family out together and get active, Dragons!

A group of parents have come together to form the Dragon Athletics Booster Club. If you are interested in joining, please email dragonsathleticboosterclub@gmail.com or contact the organization through the Facebook page - Dragon Athletics Booster Club.

This will be a great way to support 7th - 12th grade Dragon athletes and programs. Membership is $20 per family this year.

The Mountainburg Board of Education meets once a month unless a special meeting is needed. A study session will be held at 5:15 and the business session will be at 6:00 PM. Meetings are held downstairs in the Mountainburg Administration Building.
