Whelan Weekend Update

While we LOVE seeing so many students waiting eagerly for the doors to open in the morning, we do need to remind you all that we DO NOT have staff available to monitor students before 8:20. Students who arrive before that are expected to wait calmly - it is not safe for kids to be playing around our playgrounds or entrances without adult supervision at that time, and we would appreciate your help in reinforcing that expectation. Thank you!

MCAS Dates for this Spring will be:

English Language Arts

• Grade 3: Monday, April 3rd & Tuesday, April 4th
• Grade 4: Thursday, April 6th & Friday, April 7th
• Grade 5: Monday, April 10th & Tuesday April 11th

Math

• Grade 5: Monday, May 8th & Tuesday, May 9th
• Grade 4: Thursday, May 11th & Friday, May 12th
• Grade 3: Monday, May 15th & Tuesday, May 16th

Science/Tech/Engineering

• Grade 5: Thursday, May 18th & Friday, May 19th

Wednesday, April 5th is our Spring Picture day. We will take class pictures for all grades, and Grade 5 will also take individual pictures. THIS IS A UNIFORM DAY FOR ALL STUDENTS.
