Beacon, Beware!
Scam Alert!
Stay Away from "Right C3"
We were recently informed by a Beacon family that a company called "Right C3" has been soliciting students to participate in an "educational group presentation" and "personal interview to help determine college admission and financial aid eligibility." This company claims to assist families and students through the college admissions and financial aid processes. Though this sounds like a helpful service, it comes at an extremely high price that "Right C3" does not explicitly disclose in their correspondences. According to reviews and complaints found on the Better Business Bureau website, "Right C3" claims that families can back out of the service for whatever reason and be refunded, however the complaints and reviews say otherwise. This company charges $2,000 for their services and makes it difficult for families to get their money back after deciding to stop using the service.
