A Note From The Principal's Desk
Earlier this week, I sent an email related to the start of school day. Our teachers are incredibly intentional with their planning. They do their very best to maximize instructional time. Even things like "morning meeting" are set up in ways to check in with kids to see what needs they might have, to gauge their understanding of a topic from the previous day, etc. Your kids NEED to be here with us for the full day, as much as possible.
Thank you (for those who drop off in the morning) for responding and getting them here on time OR walking in to discuss with us the why. It is so important for our relationships and trust to be built.
Lastly, if you pick up at the end of the day, kids must be out of the building and off campus by 3pm. RPEL is still in session and we CANNOT supervise your student. In order to keep them safe AND allow for an excellent end of the day for our friends at RPEL, our students must be off campus (again, if they are waiting for a ride) by 3pm. If they are at an after school activity...different story. However, please make sure you are here on time to pick them up!
Lastly, if you miss the email, or know someone who needs this weekly newsletter, it is posted on our Facebook page and our schools website under the News section!
Yours in Rocket Pride,
Scott
