There are many wonderful happenings at Governor Winslow School this time of year, which is why it is important that children are in school whenever possible. Missing any part of the school day has an impact on student learning. Most notably, we have been inundated with dismissals at the end of our school day. Although our front office staff does a wonderful job of tracking dismissals, we ask that no changes take place after 3:00 PM for the safety of all students. As always, thank you for supporting teaching and learning at GWS.

Students in Mrs. Chevalier's art class created festive cards for those serving our country who cannot be home for the holidays. A special thanks to our former GWS students, the Wehr triplets, who are now serving in the Marines.

• Thursday 12/14: Band/Strings/Chorus Winter Concert, 9:30AM
• Wednesday 12/20: Last day for GWS Gives Back collections
• Friday 12/22: Gr 2 Holiday Performance, 9:30AM / Early release, 12:10PM (no lunch served)
• Monday 12/25 - Monday 12/1: Holiday Break
• Tuesday 1/2: Classes resume
