Good morning E.O. Green parents/guardians,

Please be aware that classes will NOT be in session from Monday, November 21, 2022, through Friday, November 25, 2022. The E.O. Green Staff wishes you and your family a relaxing, safe and rewarding time during the Thanksgiving holiday break.

7th and 8th grade Parent conferences will be held for one week: Monday, November 28, 2022, to Friday, December 2, 2021. Please follow the schedule.

6th Grade

11/28/22- 12/09/22 - 1:20 Dismissal

Wednesday, 11/30/22 dismissal at 1:00 pm - Conferences may start earlier since dismissal is at 1:00 pm.

6th-grade staff, during the second week of parent conferences, please ensure to communicate with your families about entering through the front gate and checking in. Provide your conference schedule to the front office staff to support parents when they call or come to the office.

7th and 8th Grade

11/28,11/29, 11/30 - - 1:45 pm Dismissal

Wednesday, 11/30/22 dismissal at 1:00 pm ~As we know, WEDNESDAY is also a parent conference day.

The trimester 1 report card goes home this Friday, November 18. Please take time to review with your student the grade marks earned. The pandemic has been challenging, so please allow yourself to celebrate the small and significant accomplishments.

Be aware that classes resume on Monday, November 28, 2022.

Dungeons & Dragons Days

Dungeons and Dragons is a cooperative role-playing game, where players go on imagination-fueled fantasy adventures!

Join our adventure to Dragon of Ice Spire Peak and learn to play this fun and creative game with Game Master Chris.

Reminder to Parents:

The health office is a busy place. We have seen an increase in students coming to the health office that appear to be using the COVID protocols as a way to get out of class. Please talk with your student about not coming to the health office unless they are genuinely not feeling well. Also, COVID is still present and we are following the current Ventura County Public Health guidelines so please have a plan for who can pick up your student in case your student is sent home sick. Any COVID symptoms still require a negative COVID test result for the student to return to school. We want students in class as much as possible while looking out for your students' health and safety. Thank you for your help.

On June 30, 2022, The California Department of Public Health (CDPH) issued the COVID-19 Public Health Guidance for K–12 Schools to Support Safe In-Person Learning, 2022–2023 School Year.

As a reminder, at no time is it acceptable to send students to school when they are experiencing COVID-19 symptoms, and especially if they have received a positive test result (laboratory based OR at-home test). Please make sure to report all positive cases to your students’ school.

Temperature Screening: Please screen your child at home each day for fever or symptoms and do not send your child to school if he/she is symptomatic or sick.

Students are to stay HOME if:

-If your student does not feel well, keep them home.

-If your student has any COVID-like symptoms, keep them home.

Home tests or antigen tests are now accepted

-Thank you for keeping our school community safe.
