February Newsletter
A Message from Mrs. Antoniello
We'd like to thank Mrs. McRoberts and Mrs. Clayton for all that they do for our students.
Our Read-a-Thon will start on February 8. There is more information regarding our Read-a-Thon below. Our 100th Day of School Celebration is now on February 9 (due to the snow day). Our Souper Bowl Community Food Bank donation event will also be held on February 9. Valentine's Day is February 14, please read the information sheet. As a reminder, we don't have school on February 19-20.
Read-a-Thon
We are looking forward to our Read-A-Thon! Students will be tracking their reading minutes. We hope to get to 40,000 minutes so we can PIE THE PRINCIPAL! We are raising money for a new playground at OMS. Please register your child with this READ-A-THON LINK.
SOUPER BOWL Community Donation Event
We will host our second annual "Souper Bowl" Community Donation Event. Students are encouraged to bring in a can of soup, which will be donated to a local food pantry. SOUPER BOWL FLYER
K-5 Early Dismissal: 2/28/24
The calendar for K-5 schools has been updated this year to include an early dismissal schedule (1:05 PM) for K-5 students on February 28, 2024. Kindly refer to the revised calendar for more details.

Who and What OMH&S is...
Old Mill Home & School Association (OMH&S) is Old Mill's PTA. OMH&S raises funds for all class trips and assemblies, recess equipment, supplies and events throughout the year. Our ability to operate is entirely dependent on the volunteer efforts of Old Mill School families and educators. Join us today!

Master Park's Black Belt America kicked off the first Taekwondo class in their afterschool Character Enrichment (ACE) Program at Old Mill Elementary School!
