Bernardo Parent Bulletin #7

Parents are invited to join Mr. Lyche at Coffee with the Principal on Friday, September 15 at 8:00 in the multi-purpose room (MPR) to learn more about our school as well as ask any questions. No need to RSVP.

Also, no need to sign in when you arrive on campus. Just enter the MPR through the gate at the far end of the parking lot.

If you have a bachelors' degree, you are eligible to become a substitute teacher for the Escondido Union School District. You can choose to substitute at any of the district schools or just Bernardo.

There will be a Substitute Teacher Job Fair on Monday September 18th 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. See the flyer below for more details.

We invite all of our families to bring chairs, shade umbrellas, easy-ups, or blankets and join your child during their regularly scheduled lunch time out on the front grass. Feel free to bring your own food or your child can get a free lunch from the cafeteria. During the event, we will also have our book fair open.

Here are the lunch times for each grade level along with areas to sit.

• 4th/5th: 11:00-11:40 (4th on grass closer to front office/5th on grass closer to MPR)
• 2nd/3rd: 11:40-12:20 (2nd on grass closer to front office/3rd on grass closer to MPR)
• K/1st: 12:20-1:00 (Kindergarten on grass closer to front office/1st on grass closer to MPR)
• TK: 12:30-1:10 (TK playground area)
