Hello Parker parents and guardians,

I am incredibly proud of the PJHS 8th-grade class of 2021! 2020-21 was a monumental school year, and we are excited to end the year by celebrating our students!

This newsletter includes updated information just for 8th-grade students and families on:

• In-person graduation signup
• 8th-grade activities
• Important dates

The graduation will be a combination of in-person and virtual celebrations.

May 13 and May 15: Small groups of graduates and up to four family members at Parker.

Students should arrive in their caps and gowns. Students will receive their diplomas, awards, and have a chance to take pictures with their families.

Please click below to reserve a time. Time slots are first come, first served.

The graduation fee is $38.00 and should be paid by May 10, 2021. The graduation fee covers the cost of the cap/gown and drive-in movie.

8th-grade yard signs, t-shirts, and mugs are free of charge for all students.

May 15 - In-person graduations

May 17-21 8th-grade activities week & Facebook spotlights

May 21 - Device/materials drop-off

May 24 - Virtual graduation live stream 7:00 p.m.

The 8th-grade activities are for students in both the remote and hybrid programs. The activities will be fun and safe opportunities to bring students together! We will share additional details regarding each event in the upcoming weeks.

Thanks to the wonderful PJHS PTO, each graduate will receive a yard sign, t-shirt, and mug to commemorate the school year!

8th-grade students, please vote on the designs below! Thank you to all of our students who submitted original designs! The winner will be announced on Friday, April 16, 2021.

Each graduate will be featured on the PJHS Facebook page during the week of May 17-21, 2021.

Students will be featured in their cap and gown pictures with an inspiring quote. Teachers will share more information with students on the student quotes in the coming weeks.
