Welcome to November! What a busy month we have ahead of us. A big thanks goes out to everyone who purchased apples in our recent fundraiser. It was wonderful to bring the community together and to share this program.

We had some wonderful community members come to our building on October 31st and they did an amazing job with a Halloween display for students to enjoy. Many thanks go to Joanne Bremner and Lisa Murray for all of their hard work!

We also invited the Science in Motion crew to the building on November 2nd, the students really enjoyed the hands-on learning and the whole school assembly at the end.

We are looking forward to a visit from the Beaverlodge Jigging group on the 13th, a visit from author Rita Feutl on the 15th, and some drumming sessions on the 30th.

Reminders:

• Report cards go home on November 30th
• Students should be bringing and wearing the appropriate clothing for the weather
• If your child is not taking the bus and other arrangements are being made, please inform the office ahead of time

Hello Penson school students and parents, here are some of the fun things that we did this month!

We got 2 new turtles and we will be naming them next month. Pancake Breakfast was awesome!

Thank you to the Grovedale Agriculture and Community Club for sponsoring the pancake breakfast on Oct. 12th.

The students in our school are really enjoying our breakfast club. Special thanks to Val and Carly for running this for the students.

Another huge thank-you to Pipestone Energy Corp. for donating our new scoreboard.
