Remote learning - this is not AMI

Parents,

As you have likely heard by now, we will be continuing remote learning through December 4th. The purpose of these days are to allow staff to finish required quarantines and allow us to get back to business as usual in our schools. I want to assure you that this is NOT AMI. We are going to continue posting assignments as though we were face to face. Students will need to continue checking all of their Google Classrooms and communicate with teachers.

Each day next week, your child will have one synchronous learning event every day. He/she can choose to participate at either 10am or 2pm. This is required. Students MUST log on and attend.

Monday - Math
Tuesday - ELA
Wednesday - Electives/Wheel
Thursday - Social Studies
Friday - Science

There MAY be other live events throughout the week, but those will not be required.

If you do not have internet access for your child's Chromebook, please email me at abyford@sdale.org

Teachers will be on-site next week and available for questions. They will also be doing intervention with students throughout the week. Let us know how we can help!

Please enjoy the next five days of our Thanksgiving break. We will get through this challenging time together!

Spelling Bee Update!

We are going to try and proceed with our school-wide Spelling Bee next week. If your child qualified to participate, please tell him/her to check his/her email. We will be sending information and gauging whether we can get all of our participants on-site at one time to move forward. Thanks!
