Connecticut Association of Schools Celebration of the Arts
The Arts Committee and the Connecticut Association of Schools Elementary Level Board took great pleasure in celebrating the 25th ANNUAL ELEMENTARY CELEBRATION OF THE ARTS. The objective of this program is to recognize students at the elementary level who demonstrate outstanding ability in the performing or visual arts and maintain a high level of citizenship and cooperative skills. It was a pleasure to celebrate Monday night with our recipients and students from across the state.
Congratulations to Center School recipients MariAnna D'Amore and Blake Rau!
Congratulations Inventors!
Peers and the community were amazed at the creativity and ingenuity on display! Our inventors tackled common everyday problems with a curious and creative approach. Inventions were viewed by classrooms during the school day Wednesday, and open to the community Wednesday evening.
We appreciate the partnership with the East Hampton Rotary and all community members that took on the important, and very difficult, role of judging. Hats off to our staff leaders, Mrs. Cote and Ms. Sawyer, who led our students from the kick-off assembly to tallying the final votes. A final thank you to our supporters, East Hampton Parks and Recreation, the Rotary Club of East Hampton, the High School Interact Club, and our parent volunteers.
All of our Inventors should be very proud of the time and effort that went into their final product!
Thank you to our supporters!

EHNS Book Buddies
👽 It was an alien themed visit as Center School students led their book buddies through a collaborative read aloud and an alien spaceship craft!
Attendance Matters
If a student has four unexcused absences in one month or 10 unexcused absences in a year they are classified as truant. If a child misses 18 or more days in a school year – excused or unexcused absences – the student is classified as chronically absent.
