Storybook Character Parade Information

Owens Families,

Our annual Storybook Character Parade will be Friday, October 30th at 1:30 p.m. We will parade around outside just like before. However, please make sure of the following:

You are socially distanced from others.
You are wearing a mask. We need to model for our students that the adults can follow the guidelines as well.

We will utilize all three drives: front clock drive, café drive (most room), and the back drive.

Below on the SMORE, there is a time lapse video to show you where you can sit and see the parade. The parade cannot stop to take individual pictures and say hello. We will parade slow enough to still capture great pics of your student. Please do not send students in any costumes that are interpreted as "evil" or have potential to have political or social agendas that may be offensive to others. Let's continue to make this a fun and memorable day at Owens!

Suggestions for seating (all students will parade through all areas):

PreK & Kindergarten - Back Drive
1st Grade - Front Drive
2nd-5th Grade - Cafe Drive (largest area)
If you have multiple students you can pick a location. These are just suggestions for spacing out. Please wear mask and socially distance yourselves.

Please leave path clear for parade on:

Sidewalk from cafe drive that connects to front drive
Sidewalk in the back for students to parade down
Front Porch Entrance into school
