All Juniors must take three tests as graduation requirements. The ACT (at Bethel High School), Science, and US History. The test dates have been set and are as follows:

ACT: April 4&5

History Test: April 11, 2023

Science Test: April 12, 2023

All tests will begin at 8 am. The ACT will take most of the school day. The Science and US History tests are not as long. Students will be done before lunch. If your student has an appointment on any of these days, please reschedule. If your student attends GCTC in the morning, they will be excused from GCTC on test days.

The application portal is now open for GCTC 23-2024 school year. The deadline for Bethel students is February 22, 2023. After that point, there is no guarantee that your academic information will be uploaded.

*Virtual Interviews will be held on March 2, 2023. Students will need to sign up for a time on the sheet outside Mrs. Ingmire's office. Students will need to schedule their interview during an elective class. The interviews are less than 10 minutes, so there should be no reason that students can not interview during an elective class.

*Advanced Health Careers (2nd year) do not need to do a virtual interview on March 2. Mrs. Gabaeu will meet with you on campus.

After the virtual interviews are completed, program instructors will begin their interviews. These will happen on March 6 & 7 if you are chosen. You will be contacted by email for these interviews, so please check your email. Gordon Cooper Technology Center only communicates through email.

Flyers are available outside Mrs. Ingmire's office. Paper applications are also available in the counseling office. Juniors can now apply! Applications must be submitted by June 30, 2023.

We encourage our 10th - 12th grade students to take an ACT on a national test day.

Up to 4 fee waivers can be used for eligible 11th and 12th grade students. Please see Mrs. Ingmire about fee waiver eligibility.

*Juniors will be given a free ACT at Bethel High School in the spring. This test is part of graduation requirements for our Juniors.
