Homecoming 2013

See below for the festivities which will occur from October 7th through 11th.

Schedule G (Rally Schedule)

9am - Rally during second period in the Gym! Come see Homecoming Court, watch the Dance Spectrum perform, and win Sparta Cup points by participating in games!

Lunch - Homecoming Court Ring Toss! In the spirit of Carnival games, try to toss hula hoops onto the 2013 Homecoming Court. This event will occur in the quad.

Spirit Day: Class Colors. Freshman - Green, Sophomores - Purple, Juniors - Orange, Seniors - Gold!

Lunch: Homecoming Court Slime Tug of War! Watch homecoming court compete against each other in jello tug of war. This event will occur in the quad.

3:30: Boys Waterpolo vs. Lynbrook on the pool deck.

5:45: Girls Waterpolo @ Monta Vista.

7:00pm: Girls Varsity Volleyball vs. Fremont in the biggest gym on campus. (JV at 5:30)

Spirit Day: Tie Dye Tuesday!

Lunch: The annual Homecoming Court Dunk Tank is back! Come watch the Court get soaked. Come quick and reserve a spot to throw a ball and try to dunk one of the princes or princesses. This event will occur in the quad.

Homecoming King and Queen elections will take place at the same time. There will be a booth for Freshman and Sophomores by the theater and one for Juniors and Seniors in the back parking lot.

Spirit Day: Wacky Wednesday! Wear mix match, polka striped, backwards clothing. The crazier the better!

Lunch: Homecoming Court Walk Through in the quad during lunch. Come listen to the biographies of Court and check out their spiffy tuxedos and dresses! Homecoming King and Queen elections will take place at the same time. There will be a booth for Freshman and Sophomores by the theater and one for Juniors and Seniors in the back parking lot.

3:30-8:00: Float Building Night! Come help your class win the float competition. There will be food, music, and a plethora of tissue flowers.

3:15: Frosh/Soph Football vs. Santa Clara

3:15: Girls Waterpolo vs. Cupertino

3:30: Girls Tennis vs. Los Altos

5:45: Boys Waterpolo @ Los Gatos

7:00: Girls Volleyball vs. Monta Vista (JV at 5:30)

Spirit Day: Circus Animal! Dress up as your favorite animal from the circus.

Schedule F: Sixth Period ends at 11:40am and Seventh Period concludes at 12:15pm.

Spirit Day: Black and Yellow! Show your Spartan Pride!

12:15-1:30: Homecoming Carnival (Picnic) on the soccer fields behind the 500 wing. Clubs will be selling food, there will be inflatables to play on, and carnival games to win prizes. Come get your face painted black and yellow for the football game.

1:30-2:30: Homecoming Parade. Watch class floats, dance spectrum, various clubs and teams, and the Homecoming Court come by on Truman Avenue.

3:00: Varsity Football Game. Come to the football stadium to watch Mountain View beat Santa Clara. At Halftime, the King and Queen of Homecoming Court will be announced as well as the winners of the float competition.

8:00-11:00pm: Homecoming Dance in the big gym!
