News From The Elementary Office April 2023
A Note from the Office
Welcome back from Spring Break. While having a little time away is nice, seeing our staff, families, and students back in the building is always good. As we enter spring and a season of growth and newness, it seems the perfect time to reflect on our students' growth this year. Students who were once shy to enter the building now confidently bound through the doors. Our pre-readers are now decoding words and writing their thoughts on paper. Students have grown in stature and size as well. And middle school is just around the corner for our fifth graders. As these next few months pass by, talk to your child and celebrate all the learning that has sprung to life this year.

FAMILY FOUNDATIONS
Counselor Corner
Welcome back to school students and parents! We are in for an exciting week to come. We still have so much learning to do and it is important to keep going with your best effort!
We will soon be having standardized testing grades 3-5 and we need your help by making sure the students get a great night's sleep, and breakfast, and be to school on time!
It is also important to help remind the students to do their very best, work hard, and take their time on the test! They know what they are doing and this is their time to shine!
One thing you can do for your students is to remind them they are smart and they can do this! In the morning remind them of those 2 things as they walk out the door!
Positive affirmations help our minds be positive and in turn gives us positive results!
As always if you have questions please feel free to reach out to Mrs. Rhymer at 260-692-1012 or Miss Megan at 260-692-1122.
