Rainy Days, Routines, and Relationship Building
Berryton Families,
Students have done a fantastic job of returning for week two! A few specific celebrations:
- Picture Day went extremely well. Our Berryton students looked great!
- Staff and students are getting to know each extremely well and classroom communities are developing right before our eyes. It is so exciting to see our staff build the foundation for learning!
- Thanks to all of our Berryton families for helping keep up those Learning Logs. We know they are tedious and a lot to keep up- your efforts are truly appreciated! If you have any questions about Learning Logs don't hesitate to check in with your classroom teacher.
- Mosby, our school therapy dog, has loved having students back in the building!
- Check out some pictures of our Buffalos during week two.

Picture Day- Part Two for Track A Students
Monday, September 28 will be the second picture day at Berryton. Pictures will be ordered completely online and the informational flyer is directly below. Students in Track A who normally attend on Monday and Tuesday will be photographed. In addition we invite students that are completely remote to join us for picture day. Remote students may come to the building anytime between 12-2 and will need to ring the door bell. In following Shawnee County guidelines only students will be allowed to enter and family members will need to wait in their vehicles. We anticipate this would be a quick process and would take no more than 10-15 minutes.
Welcome Mrs. Morgan
Casey Morgan is a Speech Language Pathologist who will be at SHES and Berryton this year. She will support students in Pre-K and in grades 3-6.
Welcome Mrs. Watson
Mrs. Watson is our new Cafeteria Clerk and lunch scanner. We are glad to have her at Berryton.
BES Food Service Manager
Ms. Leger is now serving as our Food Service Manager. She was previously a Cook's Helper at Berryton. We are excited for her new role. l
