Hello GLOBE families,
GLOBE carried out a fire drill today, at both campuses. I'm pleased to report that they went very well. We are proud of our teachers and students for diligently following procedures and how quickly and efficiently they exited the buildings. We are especially proud of how patient the students were, as they waited to be allowed back inside.
At Lower Campus, we did actually have some smoke that was detected during the drill, and we did have to call the fire department, resulting in everyone being outside for a little bit longer than usual. However, there was no fire, and no damage or injuries occurred. As soon as the fire department had thoroughly checked the building and given us the all clear, students and staff were allowed back inside to continue with their school day.
Everyone did such a great job!
