Q4 Reflection Of Digital Artifact

Over the course of this school year I have seen my growth in Art. Not only have I grow as a artist, but also a person. Art this school year has helped me open up as a person, and express myself. The artwork I created this school year help people better understand me. Earlier in art I never really liked to present my artwork, I wasn't confident and didn't take pride in it, and you could tell by my body language. But now as I take the time and reflect I know realize I should have every reason to be confident. My artwork is something I should take pride, and be confident about. Art is something that is supposed to be fun, and that is something I learned which is to have fun while making meaningful art!

My biggest weakness in Art this year was stay focused, and learning how to take my time. Being patient in art is very important. Good art isn't rushed, and rushed art isn't good. I rushed a few projects this year, my painting project didn't turn out exactly how I wanted because I didn't use the right paint blush, or right paint. I wanted to use water colors, but being as though I rushed it was to late to change it.

For this project I made a collage that represents me and who I am as a person. I found this project very fun. I have never made a collage before, so this was something new, and fun experience. I choose a collage because it was a simple idea, secondly it gives me multiple ways to express myself. All the images I choose represent me in so many ways. The only difficult task I faced with this project was putting all my images together. I had so many images that represented, so of them I couldn't even use. I didn't want to misplace, or have any unnecessary images. Most of the images I found were in magazines I had at home. I mixed and matched different images to make a better image. This is the project I am most proud of this school year.

For this project I did a painting that represents my life. The painting includes such things like basketball, money, and football. I'm very passionate about sports that's why I included it. This was my first time painting in art, but it was very fun experience. I'm not much an painter but I felt I did a pretty good job. My idea was to use bright colors, to bring it out,because I stand out. This project is the project I had the most fun with. I stepped out my comfort zone, and tried something new which was painting. Unfortunately I lost this painting project

For this project I drew a sneaker drawing. My drawing was a retro jordans. Retros were created by Micheal Jordan I am a sneakerhead myself so I had fun with this project. I love to sketch, and free hand draw. I excel at that. So sketching was easy for me. First I created my outline, to get a feel for it, and that way I could make all my edits, and mess up on that one before I started my main copy. My final copy was so much more detailed. I got every possible detail I could. My final copy after it was completed I highlighted it in marker. This probably was the hardest due to the fact, that the sneaker was so detailed. I want to make the same of art I made this year. I want to make all different kinds of art. I would to sculpt, or even do paintings of other people.

Collage art inspires me the most. I like this kind of art because I think it's the most creative. I like the idea of putting multiple random images together, to create another image. Collage art can be done in some many ways and styles.
