Happy December!
December has arrived! There are many festivities that will take place in December. On Friday, we decorated the school Christmas tree and our classroom Tree. Our classroom Elf also arrived on Friday. His name is Frosty Jollyflakes. He will be Santa's eyes and ears in our classroom until Christmas break. Students are super excited to see what trouble Frosty gets into. I can't wait to share many Christmas festivities with our class.
Important Dates:
- Progress Reports go home on Wednesday, December 6th.
- Monthly Birthday Celebration and Christmas Party will be Friday, December 15th!
- NO SCHOOL- Christmas Break! December 18th - January 2nd
Daily Reminders:
*Don't forget to bring a water bottle daily.
*Students should only have water in their water bottle.
*Remember to bring your green folder and baggie book folder to school each day.
*Don't forget to pack a healthy snack for snack time!
*Friday is ice cream day in the cafeteria! Ice cream is $1.25.
*If you would like to donate to the ice cream fund please let me know. We are in need of donations!

Reading: I can retell, ask and answer questions about a story including key details.
I can ask and answer questions about key details in a text.
Math: I can add and subtract within 20 using different strategies.
Writing: I can write a narrative using compete sentences.
health: I can describe the importance of community helpers.
