Thank you families for the outstanding turnout at our Open House Ice Cream Social! It was so wonderful to visit with all who attended!

Wednesday, June 1 is Grewenow Sports (Track & Field Day).

Students should dress for athletic activities in the expected 80 degree sun. Well-fitting gym shoes are a must! Water Bottle recommended.

ALL Grade 5 families are invited to attend (in-person) our Grade 5 Promotion Celebration next Friday, June 3. The event starts at 9:00, there will be a cake reception to follow, and families may take their student with them after the event (it will end close to the end of the school day).

Families with students entering Kindergarten AND Grade 2 next fall - we have openings for summer school. Please contact the office if you are interested in having your child attend

All other families who were contacted and accepted a summer school seat for their student have been registered. Information will go out late next week, but here is the schedule:

Monday June 20 - first student day

• Sessions are held Monday - Thursday from 8:00AM - 12:10PM

Monday, July 4 - no classes (Independence Day)

Thursday July 28 - final student day

It's not too late to sign volunteer for the playground build. June 10, 2022 is the day!

• Expected time is 8:30AM - 4:00PM
• 6-8 volunteers are needed on site throughout the day (can be done in shifts). Please complete this form if you are interested.
• Volunteers will be unwrapping and assembling the equipment and moving and mixing bags of concrete (60lbs)!

The Kenosha Public Library's Bookmobile will be at Grewenow Mondays 12-1 PM from June 13 through August 15. There's No stop on June 20 (Juneteeth holiday observed) and July 4.

This is a great opportunity for students in our neighborhood to borrow some great books to read over summer!

Library cards will be available on site, but it is always faster to have the form completed in advance! That form is in English and Spanish below.

KUSD is accepting applications for e-school for the 2022-2023 school year. This will be the only K-5 option for virtual learning for the 2022-2023 school year. Please watch this video to learn more about the e-school learning program.

Grewenow Family & Teacher Community, our school's PTO meets the first Wednesday of each month. They support the educational experiences at Grewenow through both financial support and hosting fun events to bring the school community together.
