In case you forgot, this Wednesday, April 26th, from 6:00 - 7:15pm we will be hosting an AWB PE Family Fun Fitness Night! This evening will provide an opportunity for you to take part in some fun fitness, dance, sport and PE activities as a family. The event will be held at AWB on the back field or in the gymnasium if we have inclement weather. All family members are invited and welcome to attend.

Please dress appropriately with sneakers ready to move and participate.

It's that "season" for school districts...budget time! The annual budget vote for NYS school districts will be held on Tuesday, May 16th in the HS Gym.

Here are some other important budget facts:

• The Board of Education will host a hearing on the proposed 2023-24 budget at the high school on Wednesday, May 3, at 6 p.m.
  
• A newsletter covering important details on the budget will be mailed out to district residents the following day, Thursday, May 4.
• ALSO, a presentation of the $2.3M Summer Construction project is scheduled.

Our annual Kindergarten and Pre-K Screening Days are coming soon! All Kindergarten and Pre-K students will participate in a screening conducted by teachers and nurses. This helps the school to plan the best possible experience for all children. The kindergarten screening dates are scheduled as follows:

• Wednesday, May 17

• Thursday, May 18

• Friday, May 19

• Monday, May 22

Specific information regarding screening appointment dates and times will be shared with families in the next couple of weeks. Pre-K Screening will be held in June.

There is no deadline for enrolling in kindergarten at RCS. The new Student Registration page with required document and forms can be viewed here.
