Month of Gratitude
"Breakout" Activity
Gus, the Grateful Turkey is an elementary level breakout activity. Primary grades can complete together as a class while intermediate students can complete in small groups. Middle School and High School groups can use this link to engage students in a fun, team building, warm up activity.
Scavenger Hunt or BINGO: Elementary
A "Random Acts of Kindness" BINGO activity is a great way to encourage students to think of others. The first page of the template contains ideas that are ready to use. The second page is a clean slate you can use to collaborate with students in Kami to generate your own list of class tasks.
Gratitude Journal: Secondary
Appreciating the characteristics of a current literary character, historical figure, or someone in their life is a great way for students to internalize gratefulness. Students can capture these reflections in a journal showcasing qualities and attributes they admire as a means of setting their own personal goals. Here are some "Journal" and "Notes" templates in Google slides to make things easy.
