Parents, please do not park in the bus turnaround after 2:30pm. Our buses are not able to maneuver around the parked cars. Thank you for helping us to keep everyone safe and the buses on time.

A dental examination is required for students in K, 2nd and 6th grades. The exam must have taken place within 18 months prior to May 15. It must be submitted by May 15, 2017. If you are unsure if we have a dental form on file for your child, please contact either Judy Klosterman, RN for grades K & 2 at klosterman@ogschool.org or Callie Johnson, RN for grade 6 at johnson@ogschool.org

The Oak Grove Spelling Bee was held last week. There were 25 participants in grades four through eight. After 20 rounds, eighth grader Marilyn Yu won on the word "consumption". Sixth grader Jack Shaw is the runner up. Congratulations and good luck as they prepare for the regional bee in February.

3rd and 5th Grade Parent Information Night: Talented And Gifted (TAG) Program

We invite parents who have students currently in third or fifth grade to join us on Wednesday, February 8th from 6:30-7:30 p.m. at Oak Grove School to learn more about the TAG program and placement process. Please, RSVP here.

*Please note, all students in third and fifth grade are reviewed for daily replacement TAG services, in ELA and math. Placement in the TAG program in grades 4 and/or 5 does not guarantee placement into the program for grade 6. Click here for Oak Grove’s TAG Handbook.

Daddy/Daughter Dance

Deadline to purchase tickets has been extended.

Last chance to get your tickets to Daddy/Daughter Dance. New deadline is Wednesday, January 25th. Tickets are selling fast! Don't wait to buy. Please note, you will not be receiving actual tickets, there will be a list at the door.

Mother/Son Dance

Ticket sales are now open for the first Mother/Son Dance for all K-8 boys. Cut a rug to tunes by DJ Chris Colton and enjoy games, snacks, photo booth, & raffle prizes.

Date: Saturday, February 25th 6:30PM-8:30pm in the Junior High Gym. Come dressed in your favorite TEAM attire

The show is open to all 5th-8th graders.

Want to be a Wildcat cheerleader? Attend the LHS Cheerleader's Winter Future Cat Cheer Clinic on Wednesday, February 22. Participants will learn a mini routine and perform at the boys basketball games that evening. Cost includes pizza dinner, t-shirt, bow, and 2 tickets to the basketball games that evening.
