Greetings Everyone-

Next week is full of activity at Bay View. Proctor High School is celebrating their annual Homecoming and Bay View is included in the fun. Next Thursday at 1:00PM, PHS will be bringing their PEP FEST to Bay View. The Pep Band, Homecoming Court, and Cheerleaders will be here to lead out students in a fun 15 minutes of getting our students into the Homecoming Spirit. It is held on the side of the hill by the playground. Then on Friday at 1:15PM our 4th and 5th graders will be bussed over to PHS to watch the homecoming parade. After the parade they will be returning to Bay View for dismissal.

On Friday, Sept. 29th is our annual Fall Harvest Fest at the field and in the garden from 4:30PM- 6:00PM. We will have hotdogs, chips and water along with a Cotton Candy Machine, Apple Cider Making, the Lillo's race car demo and a Proctor Fire Dept. truck. All are welcomed to this FREE event, sponsored by P.I.E. After the BBQ, please consider attending the RAILS Football game vs. Cloquet @ 7:00PM @ Terry Egerdahl Field.

Finally, have you ever thought about working for our school? Currently we are still looking for para-professionals, playground supervisors and one special education teacher to complete our staffing needs. 2023-24 School Hours are:

Doors OPEN @ 8am (enter thru door 1/flagpole entrance)

Class Starts @ 8:15am (students need to be in class)

Dismissal @ 2:45pm

Parking spots are available if you need to enter the building with your child

If you have early pickup, please notify the teacher via seesaw and/or Heather in the office.
We know it is congested and we thank you for your patience

One breakfast and one lunch are FREE for all students!!

• Additional or extra milk: $0.50

• Adult lunch $5.00
• Adult breakfast: $2.50

All classes at Bay View have a snack during their day at school. It's a good time for a brain break and supplies them with a boost of energy/focus to get through the day.

Often teachers are left suppling their classrooms with snacks for kids that forget to bring a snack, don't/unable to bring a snack or maybe they need an extra snack to get them through the day.

Just Kids Dental (JKD) has partnered with Bay View to provide school-based dental services to uninsured and underinsured students at school.
