We have such a great team in our little building. The way you all pulled together to make the first week amazing for our students is a great testament to how strong we are. It absolutely took the village this past week, and you all stepped up to the challenge. I am looking forward to all the great things we will accomplish this year. #PAXTANG PROUD!

The new superintendent never made it last week. He is scheduled to come back again this Thursday.

Day 2 is our Tiers meeting for students. If you are available to cover the cafeteria with students eating breakfast, please let me know.

Seven Ways to Promote Positive Communications With Families

One of the most meaningful and effective ways to improve rapport with families is by contacting them with positive news about their child. Together, positive communication systems are one of a handful of high-leverage practices that can help us build more cohesive and trusting school communities. You do not have to wait until after announcements to begin the First Five activities. You can begin them as soon as you have enough students and just pause for announcements. This will give you more time to get the activities in.

All classroom doors need to be closed and locked while you are teaching or students are in your class. Remember that no outside door should be propped. We want to keep our students safe. Please be sure to adhere to this.

Please sign up to create a display for one of the cases. You may work in teams and you only need to sign up for at least once this year. Let's see how creative and motivating you can get!

If you carry a radio from the office area, please take it to a kindergarten teacher by 3:30 pm. They need it for dismissal.

We will begin our dress down days in September. Thursdays are Purple Paxtang Proud days! All those with Purple Shirts ( including students).
