Family Guides for Common Core Priority Standard Instruction

Achieve the Core is a product of a non profit group called Student Achievement Partners. Their goal is to assist educators and family partners with information and support to assist all students with academic success. They have come up with Family Guides for supporting children in distance learning for grades K-5 (guides for older grades are coming soon)

Please take a look at the guides below. You will find these very helpful in understanding what our teachers are teaching, and ways to support your children from home.

Our First Ever Drive Through Pumpkin Patch

A big thank you to Ms. Anita, Ms. Cate, Ms. Lois and Ms. Nora for hosting a pumpkin patch for our younger students--and a huge thank you to all of the parents for your help in being the chaffeurs! Our students and teachers enjoyed seeing each other in the flesh, and hopefully the pumpkins brought joy to the students in the form of a jack-o-lantern, or even a pie!

Update on School Lunches

The CDE and USDA have extended the Summer Meal Service to provide free meals to all students until December 31, 2020. We receive our lunches through Claremont Unified School District. Meals will be offered on a daily basis (not a week's worth like during the summer).

Families may go to the following locations to pick up lunches. Please mention that you are from Mt. Baldy School (they will ask for a meal card).

Claremont High School 12:35 - 1:35 p.m.

El Roble Middle School 11:20 - 12:20 p.m.

Chaparral 12:15 - 1:15 p.m.

Condit 12:00 - 1:00 p.m.

Mt. View 12:00 - 1:00 p.m.

Oakmont 12:00 - 1:00 p.m.

Sumner/Danbury 12:00 - 1:00 p.m.

Sycamore 12:00 - 1:00 p.m.
