During San Antonio's Fiesta, it is tradition for Miss Fiesta and Fiesta princesses to show their boots. The crowd will shouts, "Show us your boot!"

Remember the Alamo!
During The Battle of Flowers Parade, each float will with stop by the Alamo and drop off a bouquet of flowers. The young men guarding the Alamo, will take the bouquet of flowers and lay them out on the grass, in front of the Alamo. The flowers are to remember the men whom died at the Alamo.
A Look at Fiesta San Antonio's History and Celebration
"(1)To perpetuate the memory and spirit of the men and women who achieved and maintained the independence of Texas.
(2) To encourage historical research into the earliest records of Texas, especially those relating to the Revolution of 1835 and the events which followed; to foster the preservation of documents and relics; to encourage the publication of records of individual service of the soldiers and patriots of the Republic and other source material for the history of Texas.
