SDSL Digital Resources Course
Are you interested in learning more about digital resources? Kim Bonen, SDSL Digital Resources Coordinator, is offering a course in March (starts February 28) that is focused on digital reference services. Check out the details!
About
This course is for South Dakota library staff and will focus on digital reference services. Students will be introduced to ethics in reference services, searching techniques, and digital literacy on the internet.
Course Objective
By the end of this course, students will be able to search for and evaluate digital information sources available in libraries and on the internet.

Fully online via Google Classroom
February 28 - March 18, 2022
Course Credit
10 continuing education contact hours.

Basic familiarity with the ProQuest Platform is recommended prior to this session.
EBSCO eBooks Basics

Description: In this 1-hour training you will learn the basics of using EBSCO eBooks. We will review how to access EBSCO eBooks, searching and browsing, reading EBSCO eBooks online, downloading chapters, checking out titles, placing holds, and more. We will also take a look at eBooks in the new EBSCO mobile app which offers a new interface and easy process for reading and checking out eBooks on mobile devices.
