Dear IG Families:

What a week! It kicked off with the smashing success of our FreeMarket. Thank you to Emily and Pete Fazio (and their kids) for coordinating and carrying out the entire event.

This week was marked by some fun year-end events, too. Our second graders had their Pajama Party concerts, which were terrific! Miss Adams and the students did a super job. See some pictures below.

Also, we are hatching chicks and ducks everywhere. A few classrooms have hatched chicks, and Mrs. Bohrer is our very own duck farmer with four live ducks with three more working on it as we speak. The students are thrilled with all of this excitement.

We are gearing up for our BOGO Bookfair soon after we return from the Memorial Day holiday. I hope you and your loved ones have a moment to reflect on the holiday with some time together.

June 2-9 - Scholastic Book Fair

Get Ready! The Scholastic Book Fair is coming our way (YAY!). Choosing their own books empowers kids and inspires them to become Bolder, Prouder, and Stronger Readers. AND—as always—every book they buy earns rewards for our school.

Here’s what you need to know about the Fair, which will take place from June 2nd-June 9th during your child’s library special, in the library.

This year, say goodbye to cash and hello to eWallet—your child’s digital payment account.

Before the Fair, set up eWallet for worry-free, cash-free purchases. Cash however, will still be accepted as well.
