December
December Already
As the weather is turning colder please make sure you are having your child check the lost and found. We are starting to gather a lot of jackets and would like to get those back to our students. As the rain approaches remember we are limited on gym space during recess so the kids will be outside under the covered area during lunch recess, so it is important to have jackets to stay warm and dry.
We have two weeks of school left before the break with all sorts of activities so I hope to see you in the building. Have a great December!
Power of Consistency
Regardless of our age, we are constantly learning and developing. For our school-age students school is the place where we are learning how to read, write, do math, and become life long learners. They develop key relationships and learn important social skills. For all of this to happen students need to be at school daily.
What's going on in music...
The students in all grades are preparing for our annual Holiday Sing-a-long which will be on December 20th at 2:40 pm. Please join us in singing some holiday favorites.
The Ewing Young Choir has been busy these past few weeks and are sounding great. On November 16th they sang at our Holiday Bazaar. They will be taking a field trip to go caroling on December 17th and will sing a song for us at the Holiday sing-a-long on December 20th.

Giving Tree
In December we have our annual giving tree where students have the opportunity to take a paper ornaments off of the tree which identifies an item that we are trying to collect. These items range from food to clothing, all of which goes directly to support our families. If your child brings home an ornaments and you would not like to participate, feel free to have your child return the ordainment to the tree.
Monthly Quote for our students to ponder...
“You always pass failure on the way to success.”
– Mickey Rooney
When you avoid failure YOU ALSO avoid success.
Don’t be afraid to fail. Instead, spend your time NOT focusing on failure, but on surrounding
yourself with people who will support your setbacks.
Know that failure is a part of your process.
Failure is natural. Failure is not permanent.
