Our 2023 Sweetheart Court!

Mrs. Emery arranged for Scott Enzor, who works in the community education department at South Ark, to visit her classes on Friday. Mr. Enzor demonstrated a few ways to make Ramen more nutritious and spent time talking to students about nutrition and diets.

The El Dorado School District will host Parent-Teacher Conferences on Tuesday, February 21st from noon - 6:00pm. Students will not attend school that day in order for teachers and parents/guardians to meet.

During conferences, parents/guardians have an opportunity to visit with their student’s teacher(s) about their scholar’s progress and goals this semester. Spring conferences will be held in person on each individual campus. We ask that parents/guardians make appointments with their student’s teachers.

Feb 9th, 10th, and 13th the competition cheerleaders will be in Orlando for the National High School Cheer Championship!!

We compete Friday at ESPNs Wide World of Sports around 3pm in Arena North (Yellow). There are 17 teams in our Preliminary group and the top 8 or 9 will make it to the next round! Semifinals are on Saturday, where the top 8 teams will advance to the finals on Sunday.

Wildcat fans can watch the competition if you have varsityTV or the FloSports app.

Conference Meet

Anatomy and Physiology students dissected sheep eyes as part of their study of the nervous system. They began by removing excess fat, muscle and connective tissue.

Students then cut the eye open to examine the lens, iris, choroid layer, retina, ciliary body, and optic disk.

Next, students will learn about the ear.

Senior Picture retakes are Monday from 8 -11am. You do not need an appointment, just come to the library during that time block.
