Count Day
Our first count day is next Wednesday, October 4. It is important that your student is in school on this day. If your student has an appointment, please get a doctor's note and turn it into the office or send to kennedyj@freelandschools.net. Additionally, if your student misses for another reason, absences must be reported in writing and can be sent to kennedyj@freelandschools.net. Thank you, in advance, for helping our count day run smoothly.
S.O.A.R. Drawings
Today at the Homecoming Pep Assembly we had our first round of S.O.A.R. Drawings. Students were awarded S.O.A.R. slips throughout the first month of school for demonstrating the positive characteristics on the S.O.A.R. Matrix.
Congratulations to our students who won our drawings today and, if there are any parents or businesses who are willing to donate to future drawings for our students, please contact Mrs. Thunberg directly at thunbergj@freelandschools.net. We are looking for a variety of different valued items for these drawings which can be as small as a certificate for a treat at a local business or as large as the 32” TV that we gave away today.
THANK YOU!
We would like to extend a big thank you to the Freeland Dairy and the Freeland Taco Bell for their generous gift card donations. Their generosity has helped to make our first S.O.A.R. drawing a big success!
Volunteers Needed
We are looking for a parent who would be willing to volunteer for our next popcorn day which is Friday, October 20. Our students always look forward to this day, but we need your help to make it a success. Please contact Jennifer Kennedy at kennedyj@freelandschools.net if you are able to help.
