Help us out with these healthy reminders

If your child has a combination of potential COVID symptoms, please refrain from sending him/ her to school. Contact the office secretaries to let them know of his/her absence.
If someone in the household is being tested for COVID, please refrain from sending your student(s) to school until test results are received.
If test results come back negative and students are not identified by the Cole County Health Department as a direct contact, they may return to school.
If test results come back positive, follow directive given by CCHD regarding return to school date.
If ever in doubt or if you have additional questions, contact your building administrator or the District Nurse, Julia Harrison: jharrison@blairoaks.org.

*Please note: Our District policy states students must be fever-free for 48 hours which is different than what is posted. We choose to err on the side of caution and ensure students are healthy before returning to school.

Bischoff Fundraiser

Update: John's (Josh's brother who is a match) had his procedure yesterday, and all went well!

If you would like to purchase apparel to support the Bischoff family fundraiser, please do so as soon as possible. The link is below.

Orders will close on September 1st
Orders may be picked up at the athletic complex on September 9th, from 5:00-7:00 p.m.

This fundraiser will help the family with bills, travel, and the cost of staying in St Louis.

Sophomore parking

St. Stan has graciously allowed us to use their gravel lot at the corner! Please remember we are guests and do not want to lose the privilege of using their lot. This is for sophomores only.

A High School Parking Lot Agreement will be required when your child receives a license and begins driving to school.

Become a “Falcon Follower” for the cost of $25 - $100 per year. A Falcon Follower is a member of the Blair Oaks Athletic Booster Club. Falcon Followers are listed on the sport’s display at the complex and high school gym.

Business sponsors pay $100 to have an advertisement with their logo on it displayed on the sport’s display at the complex and high school gym.

School Picture Day

Thursday, September 17th, is School Picture Day!

Order forms will be sent home with students closer to the date.
Students should bring their order form with payment on picture day and give it to the photographer at the time photo is taken.
Parents may order pictures online, at Wagner Portrait Group. Students should bring a copy of the online order receipt on picture day and present it to the photographer.

Hiring substitutes now!

If you have a high school diploma or equivalent and complete a 20-hour substitute teacher online training, you can be eligible for a substitute certificate. Blair Oaks R-II currently pays $80 per day to substitute with increased increments for long-term subs.
