Take a moment and get to know Master Rodin a bit better!

How many years have you been interested/involved in power exchange relationships?

• I have been interested in Power Exchange Relationships for 14 years and had a relationship for 10 years.

How long have you been a MAsT member? What is your role(s) in MAsT?

• I have been a MAsT member for over 12 years. I've held various positions related to MAsT over the past 12 years. I've been Treasurer for MAsT: Wilmington DE, Northeast Regional Representative, MAsT Membership Director, MAsT Regional Representative Director & currently MAsT Director of Operations.

What benefits have you found being a member of MAsT?

• The greatest benefit of being a MAsT member is access to experienced Masters and slaves to help educate myself. Also I've forged lifelong bonds and friendships with some amazing individuals.

What is a highlight in your power exchange journey?

• One of my proudest moments was receiving my Cover from Master D at the 2017 Ms Gathering! Truly a humbling experience in recognition of my service to the community. Also becoming the first African American to serve on the Board of Directors for MAsT International with some remarkable people has been one of my other greatest highlights.

What’s a low moment in your power exchange journey and how did you recover or what did you learn from it?

• The loss of my primary relationship has been a difficult road to navigate. But I've learned that my Mastery is still a very independent, worthwhile personal journey. I've also learned that MAsT meetings and MAsT friendships have provided the perfect safe spaces to express relationship struggles, disappointments and personal epiphanies.

What’s an interesting fact about you that most people don’t know?

• I am an avid San Francisco 49er fan! I also plan to live in a RV full time while traveling the country when I retire.

Do you have any advice for people new to power exchange relationships or new chapter directors?

• My advice for anyone new to power exchange relationships is to obviously become an active member in your local MAsT chapter. It can be a life altering experience if you participate in a meeting and hear the information shared by experienced members.

What’s your favorite quote and why?

• My favorite quote is an old wood working saying...measure twice, cut once. I try to equate this to my personal Mastery by "evaluating twice and making a decision once".

• I am always looking for new friends to learn from and share what I've learned. Please do not hesitate to reach out!!!
