Oct 24th - Kindergarten Pin Oaks Field Trip (9am-1pm) & McTeacher Night (4pm-7pm)
Oct 25th - 2nd Grade Shaw's Nature Reserve Field Trip (9am-11:45am)
I sent an email last week as well as a text message to families about a survey regard the character initiative at Nike Elementary. The survey should only take 10 minutes of your time. Please complete the survey no later than October 23, 2023. Your response to the survey is anonymous, confidential, and voluntary. Responding to the survey constitutes your consent for us to use the information for district and school planning. We are doing the 2nd Annual Pumpkin Book Character Contest. Pumpkins and forms can be dropped off at the Nike office until Wed., Oct. 25th. Judging will occur on Thursday, Oct. 26th. The pumpkins will be disposed of on Friday, Oct. 27th.
Next week is Red Ribbon Week. The flyer is in your child's backpack, but listed below are the
Mon., Oct. 23rd- B day- RRW Theme: Wear RED.
Tue., Oct. 24th- C day- RRW Theme: Drugs are old school! Dress in your favorite decade.
Wed., Oct. 25th- D day- RRW Theme: Don't let drugs sneak up on you! Wear sneakers.
Thurs., Oct. 26th- A day-RRW Theme: Put a cap on drugs! Wear a hat.
Fri., Oct. 27th- B day- RRW Theme: My team is drug free! Dress like your favorite team/coach.
