Dismissal Video - This is our video from last year. Our A-B-C signs are much improved, but the rest of the procedures are still very helpful.

Many of our families and staff members have taken advantage of the extra parking in the old Xplor / New CDC East parking lot. Just a reminder to all, that location will be up and running as the new Circle C Child Development Center East Campus and is no longer a parking option for our Kiker Families. Thank you so much for your help!

AISD has standardized the attendance time for all elementary schools. Our official attendance time has moved from 10:00 to 10:30 am. All students present at the official attendance time are marked present for the day. Please consider this when making appointments during the school day to support your child's attendance rates and the campus funding that comes along with attendance.

Just a reminder, doors open at 7:15 and the instructional day starts at 7:40.

Beginning this school year, the cafeteria will be resuming the pricing system for breakfast and lunch. More information and menus can be found on https://www.schoolcafe.com/.

Applicaitons for free and reduced lunch are available as well.

This year we are encouraging 4th and 5th grade students to sign up for safety patrol for a two week block of time during the school year. Thank you for being a campus leader!

Students will drop backpack off in the front foyer/vestibule, sign in, grab a vest, and head out front. We need help waving cars to the front of the line, opening doors, and welcoming each child with a warm greeting or sending students off at the end of the day.

2022-23 Bus information

The district’s “Bus Stop Finder'' will be live on Aug 2nd. Families whose students have special needs will receive their information in person from their bus teams starting the second week in August.

“WheresTheBus” App for Families

AISD’s transportation team offers families the “WheresTheBus” app, which provides timely information about the location of their student’s assigned bus only, including when it will arrive at their stop.

Thank you to everyone who showed up and worked hard at Kiker Clean Up Day! Together we were able to build a new Pre-K garden bed, clean up the various gardens in front of of the school, collect trash, replace basketball nets, freshen up planters, weed, edge, mulch, trim vines, and add extra flair to our campus with a new fence sign and a few butterfly garden decorations. We also had fun getting to know more people in the Kiker Community and painting colorful rocks. Success!

When you come for Meet-the-Teacher, don't forget to stop by the PTA Spirit Sales table in the front of the school to purchase your 2022-23 spirit shirt and other Kiker swag. If you have already pre-ordered a shirt, they will be available for pick up then too. Go Comets!
