Welcome back to a brand new year at Griffin! Our teachers and staff have been preparing for our Bulldogs' return. Our teachers have participated in summer professional learning and have been busy preparing a welcoming environment for your child!

At Griffin, we are Respectful, Responsible, and Safe. Griffin is a Leader in Me campus and we will be practicing the 7 Habits throughout the year through lessons and leadership opportunities. We believe that every child can grow and be a successful reader, problem solver, and creator through a joint commitment to learning between parent, teacher, and student. We will be offering opportunities for parents to engage with tools for helping their children at home. Most importantly, we believe that safety is essential to learning. We believe that we are safest when we connect through trust. Our teachers are committed to building trust with students and families through communication. And finally, we are blessed to have a community that values the safety of students and staff. This year, Tyler ISD has been able to provided each campus with with a full-time peace officer. Officer Deaver will be our resident Bulldog Police Officer (stop by and say hi to him on Monday night!)

We are excited about the 2023-2024 school year. We will be communicating monthly school-wide announcements through The Bulldog Bark Parent Newsletter. Your child's teacher will also communicate class-related information with you directly. We look forward to welcoming you back at Monday's Meet the Teacher night!

08/14 - Meet the Teacher at Griffin! 5:30 - 6:30 PM. Doors open at 5:00 PM.

08/16 - First Day of School! Parents can take their child directly to the classroom on Wednesday and Thursday.

08/18 - Regular drop off schedule from back entrance (only students allowed to enter).

08/29 - Kinder Parent Connection Meeting - 7:30 AM or 5:00 PM.
