Homecoming was an incredible week filled with numerous highlights and moments that will become memories for a lifetime! Several people deserve a shout out for their effort to make this week a success:
- Mirista Bushman for your assistance in planning & decorating for coronation (it was stunning!) & the homecoming games
- Our custodial staff for helping us set up the bleachers & extra seating throughout the week
- Andrea Renkly & Blake DeVries for being our outstanding emcee's at coronation
- Coach Bye & the cheerleaders for performing at coronation & leading cheers at the pep rally
- Mike Frederiksen for running the spotlight during the lip sync battle
- All our students & staff that performed during the lip sync battle
- The secondary staff for their active role in Friday's activities
- Our parents/guardians that assisted with providing/pulling floats for the parade
- Ms. Terkildsen for leading both HS & JH marching bands in the parade
- Our volunteer fire department for providing a fire truck in the parade
- Nikki Petersen with The Mighty Elk for setting up a pop-up shop during student tailgating
- Our chaperones for Saturday's homecoming dance: Officer Kriese, Troy & Melissa Wiskur, Ms. Terkildsen & Ryan, & Brittany Venekamp

Fall Conferences
Special thanks to all our parents/guardians that joined us for fall conferences on Monday. They will be held again in the north gym on Wed, 9/20 from 2:30-4 PM in a first come, first served format. Sign-up links to reserve a specific time will only be utilized by those indicated below. School will dismiss both days at 2:15 PM. Here are the details:
- Mrs. Wold & Mrs. Yackley will still do a sign up & conduct conferences in their classroom/office. Mrs. Wold's conference link is available HERE & Mrs. Yackley's conference link is HERE.
- Special Education teachers will conduct conferences in their classrooms; if their door is shut, please wait outside the classroom until the door opens
- Mr. Harming will be available in his office around 7 PM. He has a XC meet in Dell Rapids & will be back at school ASAP.
- K-12 specials teachers (art, music, PE, & band) will all be in the north gym during conferences
- Teachers will be spread throughout the north gym. A handful of teachers may briefly step away from their table to attend their own child's conference; thank you for your understanding as they do this as quickly as possible.
