Good morning parents!

This week is Read Across America Week! We are celebrating with our Read-A-Thon. Packets were sent home on Friday with more information.

Mid-Year Scantron results were also sent home last Friday. A Parent's Guide to Scantron is attached to this newsletter. If you would like a more detailed report of the grade level standards that your child has achieved and not achieved, please email me directly at alewis@stmaryum.org for this extended report. If you have any questions regarding your child's scores, please contact his/her teacher.

This Saturday, I will be participating in a Job Fair for all Catholic Schools in PG County. Please share the attached flier with anyone you know that may be interested in a career in Catholic education!

High School Information Session

There will be an information session before the HSA meeting on March 11th at 6pm for 7th grade parents. This session will cover the high school admissions process, including High School Placement Exam, shadow days, scholarships, and other relevant topics. While this event is focused primarily on 7th grade, all grades are welcome! Abbie Greer, Director of Student Support at Bishop McNamara, will also be presenting.
