- On Friday, September 27, Mountain View students and staff will participate in the school's first-ever "Maker Day." The goal of the day is to provide students with an opportunity to "make" in each class. Activities may be aligned directly to the curriculum, or teachers can take a "share your passion" approach, where they share something that they like to make with students. - With the school year well underway, administration would like to remind students and parents of the importance of bicycle and pedestrian safety. When walking/biking to school, please remember to use the designated crosswalks. New Jersey's bicycle helmet law states that individuals under the age of 17 must wear a safety helmet. In addition, we kindly ask that students walk their bikes to the rack once on school property and refrain from riding on the sidewalks.
