Greetings Mustang Families!
I hope everyone is doing well. I want to thank all of our generous parents for the gift cards that we will raffle off to our staff at our holiday gathering on Tuesday. We are so grateful to our generous parent community!
It is hard to believe we are approaching the final week of the semester. Students will have a four day week, with Thursday being a full, 6th period day. Students will meet with all of their classes and be dismissed at 3:00. Please ensure that students check Infinite Campus and have all of their work turned in to their teachers so their grades can be an accurate reflection of their learning.

Winter Break is coming up....
With our emphasis on "Being Present" when school is in session, I wanted to give you the dates of our upcoming winter break. The last day of the semester for your student is Thursday, December 14th. It will be a full, Six period day. The following day is a teacher workday.
Students will return to school on Monday, January 8th, to start third quarter.

CONGRATULATIONS RANCHO PICO ROBOTICS
The Rancho Pico Robotics Team attended the First Lego League Regional Tournament in Burbank on Saturday, December 2nd where they competed against 36 other teams. They were awarded the Engineering Excellence Award. Congratulations to the Rancho Pico Robotics Team!

Please check your student's grades
The end of the quarter is quickly approaching. Grades are meant to be a representation of mastery of learning the content standards taught in each class during the quarter.
Please check your student's grades in Infinite Campus (IC) and if your students has missing work or assessments, please have them work with their teachers and/or counselor to get the work and assessments complete.
The quarter ends on December 14th.

Beyond the Bell Second Semester
Our Beyond the Bell after school program will resume the week of January 21st. More information will come after winter break.
See Something, Hear Something, Say Something
Students are told to actively help keep our school safe by reporting unsafe situations to our Caretext line if they hear or see something concerning. Posters are all over campus and in every classroom. Students are reminded regularly on RPTV.
Yearbook Tributes
Hello, 8th grade families! Yearbook is selling tribute ads for 8th graders only! They are $25. This is your chance to put a special message in the yearbook for your student. As space is limited, you may only purchase one tribute per student/group. Click the link here or posted on the school website and then select Create a Personal Ad. They are on a first-come, first-serve basis, so be sure to get yours in by the November 30th deadline!
The dance is TONIGHT, 12/1 (5:00-7:00). Please pick up your student at 7:00pm.

Rancho Pico students are opportunity Ready!
Students are encouraged to wear a college shirt or a shirt that represents a future career goal on Thursdays. It is great to see all of the college and industry shirts out on campus.
Fridays are Spirit Days and students are encouraged to wear Rancho Pico Spirit wear.
