Many Students Returning Onsite- January 19th!
Dear West Shore Families,
As you know, learning platform applications were completed late last year. Based on the Board of Education decision on 1/11/21, we will be providing the following THREE learning platform choices to our LFCS families effective 1/19/21!
1- Face to Face (4 days per week onsite) + remote Friday instruction
2- Blended (social distance and 2 days per week onsite) + remote Friday instruction
3- Remote (online at home) + remote Friday instruction
By this time, you should already know which selection you have and whether or not your student will be reporting to a different teacher and/or classroom. Please contact your child's current teacher or the front office (810-591-6542) if you are still unsure of what you selected . Our teachers will be reaching out to new students who may have been added to their rosters THIS week.
Yours in Learning,
Mrs. Shaughnessy

TRANSPORTATION INFORMATION
A NOTE FROM THE TRANSPORTATION DEPARTMENT
With the increase in students attending school more than one day, we have transitioned back to routes that we were running pre-covid. This will eliminate a driver having to cross over to the opposite area on different days. The times will hopefully become more consistent day to day. Please be patient as we learn who will be riding, and who will not. Kindergarten and Young 5's students will be provided updated bus tags.
The routes have been updated on the Lake Fenton Website, please refer to them for the symbol, driver, and approximate time. Please understand the times will become regular as the semester continues.
We are doing everything in our power to make sure your student's ride is safe. For this reason sanitizer must be used just prior to boarding the bus, masks must be worn over the nose and mouth, and we ask that students stay in their assigned seat to reduce the number of possible outcomes of transmission.
Please check the website prior to calling the transportation office. If you still have questions feel free to reach out. 810.591.2552. Thank you and Happy New Year!
Sincerely,
Laura O’Lewin
